Brief Description Of Activity
5  Internship Program   1 We regularly recruit and host internships from Tennessee Tech University (12,000 students).  We recruit interns via on-air, campus career fairs, and professors. Although we do not restrict the academic majors from which our interns come, most of them are majoring in marketing, journalism, and communications. The interns rotate throughout the departments to learn various skills needed to work in the radio broadcast industry. For this reporting period we hosted the following:

1 Participated in Nashville State Community College (Cookeville Campus)
 Job Fair
April 11, 2013 1/4 Set up a booth area at the NSCC Job and Career Fair.  Handed out and talked about job descriptions for open Account Executive position.   Approximately 300 people attended.
4 Participated in Mentoring Program Sponsored by Highlands Workforce Development March 2014 1/4 March 2014.  Employees participated in Highlands Workforce mentoring program for middle school students. Employees participating from SALES DEPT: Laura Wolf, Tia Eller, Brent Young, Rhamey Ihmeidan.  Employees participating from ON-AIR:  Erika Quillen, Diana Monk. 
6 Participated in Highlands Middle School Career Fair May 14, 2013 1 Lee Wray, Assistant GM, and Zach Ledbetter, Promotions Director, hosted a booth and talked to students about careers in broadcasting, including on-air, sound, marketing, and sales.  Approximately 1,500 8th grade students attended. 
10 Participated in Tennessee Tech University Job/Career Fair March 2014 1/4 Rhamey Ihmeidan, Sales Manager, one account exec, and one talent, hosted a booth and talked to students about possible jobs and internships, including on-air, sound, marketing, promotions/street team, and sales.  Approximately 2,000 students attended. 
10 Participated in Livingston Academy College/Career Fair March 2014        1/4 Rhamey Ihmeidan, Sales Manager, and two account execs, hosted a booth and talked to students about careers in broadcasting including on-air talent and sales.  Approximately 900 students attended.
