Safe Money

Source - MSN Now
Longtime eBay seller James Labrecque starts each of his listings with the same warning: "WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET. NOTHING MORE AND NOTHING LESS." He's half right. Labrecque sold a locked floor safe on the auction site for $122.93, but the buyer found $26,000 cash inside. "I thought it was empty [...] So I put it on eBay" Labrecque told WMC-TV. "I feel like the stupidest idiot in the world." He has reached out to the Tennessee-based buyer, asking for half of the money. The buyer declined, quoting Labrecque's own caveat back to him. Hey, at least you got positive feedback!

Just wanting to help our friend Tom get the info out about this event. Thank you Tom for letting us know.

In what has to be one of the most heart breaking things I have ever heard, is the story of 13 yr old Phillip Parker from Gordonsville, Tn. who committed suicide after coming home from school one day because he simply was tired of the constant bullying. He reached out for help numerous times. USA Wrestling and it's fans are going to make sure this child's funeral gets paid for, his family has no money. We are doing a benefit on Feb 19th at 3pm at the Smith Co. Ag. Bldg. in Carthage. Please help us help this family. There will be a auction that night of the event. Some items include a Montgomery Gentry signed guitar and Aaron Tippin has given a bunch of things.

Looking for a Valentine's Day Date Idea?

so we get this message on Facebook from our friend Rayn with an interesting Idea for Valentine's Day.

Hey Styckman...I wanted to tell you and others about something that will initially make you laugh, but I figure can be appreciated by some. I work at the Waffle House on Willow from Time to Time and this year we are doing something CRAZY! We are turning our "Greasy Spoon Restaurant" into a "Formal Dining Establishment" for Valentine's . Complete with the ability to make reservations.

I know this... sounds ridiculous, but hear me out. We are setting the tables with linens and centerpieces, offering an amazing menu, and doing it all with none of the crazy wait times that other places may have. Our serving staff (me included) will be dressed up for the occasion and want to make it special for all who come.

Customers have literally laughed in our faces about this but we really want it to be an awesome experience for the community. This is more than a novelty it will be a special treat. Feel free to pass the word on, because now are biggest fear is going through the work of getting this arranged and no one coming.

BTW here is an article featuring this event On TIME's Website...

Facebook Three Word Challenge

Hope on over to my facebook page for the "Three Word Challenge". This time we're trying to complete the lyrics of the Country Classic Convoy by CW McCall. They idea is to post only three words at a time but eventually get to the end of the song. For Clarity purposes the lyrics are listed below the video.

Convoy lyrics

from elyrics.net

[On the CB]
Ah, breaker one-nine, this here's the Rubber Duck. You gotta copy on me, Pig Pen, c'mon? Ah, yeah, 10-4, Pig Pen, fer shure, fer shure. By golly, it's clean clear to Flag Town, c'mon. Yeah, that's a big 10-4 there, Pig Pen, yeah, we definitely got the front door, good buddy. Mercy sakes alive, looks like we got us a convoy...

It Was the dark of the moon on the sixth of June
In a Kenworth pullin' logs
Cab-over Pete with a reefer on
And a Jimmy haulin' hogs
We is headin' for bear on I-one-oh
'Bout a mile outta Shaky Town
I says, "Pig Pen, this here's the Rubber Duck.
"And I'm about to put the hammer down."

[Chorus]
'Cause we got a little convoy
Rockin' through the night.
Yeah, we got a little convoy,
Ain't she a beautiful sight?
Come on and join our convoy
Ain't nothin' gonna get in our way.
We gonna roll this truckin' convoy
'Cross the U-S-A.
Convoy!

[On the CB]
Ah, breaker, Pig Pen, this here's the Duck. And, you wanna back off them hogs? Yeah, 10-4, 'bout five mile or so. Ten, roger. Them hogs is gettin' in-tense up here.

By the time we got into Tulsa Town,
We had eighty-five trucks in all.
But they's a roadblock up on the cloverleaf,
And them bears was wall-to-wall.
Yeah, them smokies is thick as bugs on a bumper;
They even had a bear in the air!
I says, "Callin' all trucks, this here's the Duck.
"We about to go a-huntin' bear."

[Chorus]
'Cause we got a great big convoy
Rockin' through the night.
Yeah, we got a great big convoy,
Ain't she a beautiful sight?
Come on and join our convoy
Ain't nothin' gonna get in our way.
We gonna roll this truckin' convoy
'Cross the U-S-A.
Convoy!

[On the CB]
Ah, you wanna give me a 10-9 on that, Pig Pen? Negatory, Pig Pen; you're still too close. Yeah, them hogs is startin' to close up my sinuses. Mercy sakes, you better back off another ten.

Well, we rolled up Interstate 44
Like a rocket sled on rails.
We tore up all of our swindle sheets,
And left 'em settin' on the scales.
By the time we hit that Chi-town,
Them bears was a-gettin' smart:
They'd brought up some reinforcements
From the Illinois National Guard.
There's armored cars, and tanks, and jeeps,
And rigs of ev'ry size.
Yeah, them chicken coops was full'a bears
And choppers filled the skies.
Well, we shot the line and we went for broke
With a thousand screamin' trucks
An' eleven long-haired Friends a' Jesus
In a chartreuse micra-bus.

[On the CB]
Ah, Rubber Duck to Sodbuster, come over. Yeah, 10-4, Sodbuster? Lissen, you wanna put that micra-bus right behind that suicide jockey? Yeah, he's haulin' dynamite, and he needs all the help he can get.

Well, we laid a strip for the Jersey shore
And prepared to cross the line
I could see the bridge was lined with bears
But I didn't have a dog-goned dime.
I says, "Pig Pen, this here's the Rubber Duck.
"We just ain't a-gonna pay no toll."
So we crashed the gate doing ninety-eight
I says "Let them truckers roll, 10-4."

[Chorus]
'Cause we got a mighty convoy
Rockin' through the night.
Yeah, we got a mighty convoy,
Ain't she a beautiful sight?
Come on and join our convoy
Ain't nothin' gonna get in our way.
We gonna roll this truckin' convoy
'Cross the U-S-A.

Convoy! Ah, 10-4, Pig Pen, what's your twenty?
Convoy! OMAHA? Well, they oughta know what to do with them hogs out there fer shure. Well, mercy
Convoy! sakes, good buddy, we gonna back on outta here, so keep the bugs off your glass and the bears off your...
Convoy! tail. We'll catch you on the flip-flop. This here's the Rubber Duck on the side.
Convoy! We gone. 'Bye,'bye

Country Music Super Bowl Picks

Country music and the Super Bowl go hand in hand. Last night, Darius Rucker played the Super Bowl Village in downtown Indianapolis. Tomorrow night, Carrie Underwood and Steve Tyler's Pepsi Super Bowl Jam performance airs on CMT Crossroads. And sure to tune in right before kickoff, when Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert sing "America the Beautiful."

And plenty of country stars have their opinions about the game itself:

>Chris Young isn't a big follower of either the Giants or the Patriots, but if push comes to shove, he's going with the G-Men. He says, "I just think when the Giants' front four is healthy like that, they can drop everybody else back into coverage."
>Lady Antebellum are pulling for the Giants. Actually, they're pulling for quarterback Eli Manning. Charles Kelley says, "He's come to a couple of shows, and so we are Giants fans on that night."
>Dierks Bentley couldn't care less about who wins -- he's just hoping for a good game. He says, "I just want to see a game that isn't over by halftime. I want to see something that goes to the fourth quarter, maybe deeper."
>Luke Bryan says spending time with his boys take precedence over football these days, but they'll still be getting together with friends to watch the game.

And you wouldn't be LYING....kinda

Not since Superman has anyone flown in the skies over Gotham, but a group of R-C enthusiasts recently pulled off a unique and somewhat creepy stunt. They built human-shaped radio-controlled airplanes and flew them over New York City.
